Tyson turns 8!

We had Tyson's Birthday party a week early because Aaron had to work the weekend of his b-day and Tyson really wanted to go bowling this year for his birthday. He got to invite two friends to go with us. I think it was far less stressful than last year when we had 11 kids sleep over. We didn't have a lunch or anything with it because we figured we would be doing a luncheon for his baptism on June 11. Family came and we had a blast. The kids didn't make it past one game. But they were quite content to play the arcades while the adults finished off a second round. Tyson seemed to love it so I guess we did well!

I tried to combine his party at the bowling alley and the thing he loves- Star Wars! The Star Wars figures are in the shape of bowling pins. And if you can't tell the white blog on top is a bowling ball. I had a lot going on the days leading up to his party. So I went very simple with his cake this year. I guess I don't need to feel guilt if because Tyson didn't seem to mind. 

 Grandma and Grandpa Schwartz gave him this hat. I think it suits his personality very well.

 Even though we had the bumpers and the ramp for the kids lane, Tyson chose to just throw it. He is getting so big!

I had a few pictures of Tyson opening gifts and blowing out his candles, but the camera died while trying to upload them. SO just imagine Tyson's Dramatic personality and I am sure you can see exactly his reactions to everything. =)
