The Princess Exception

Our little girl Adilyn, as I have told you before, hates being a Princess. Now there are a few exceptions to that rule. One- For some reason she has formed it in her head that you have to be an adult getting married wearing your wedding dress to be called a princess. One that I actually think she looks forward to. She always asks who she is going to marry (and she is very concerned) because we have explained that she can't marry her brothers or her daddy. She is very disappointed and wants to know WHO she is going to marry because she says "I NEED to know mom" in a whine. So when Kara got married she really really wanted to hold Kara's dress.

Number Two- I think she has a huge soft spot for her cousin Sarah. She will play dress up and princess with her. She will have her friends in tears bawling because she absolutely refuses to play princess with them. But when it comes to Sarah, I think she just can't say no. So even though she adamantly proclaims that she is "NOT a Princess," just know there are a few exceptions. =)

This is what her activities usually consist of. Rough and Tumble. Here she was
rubbing her hair in the carpet till it stood straight up.
